AS “Rīgas piena kombināts” implements an energy efficiency project

AS “Rīgas piena kombināts” is implementing the project “Energy efficiency improvement of AS “Rīgas piena kombināts”” at its property located at Bauskas iela 180 in Riga. The objective of the project is to enhance the company's energy efficiency through targeted infrastructure investments.

Within the scope of the project, the company plans to invest in the energy efficiency of its administration building and replace ventilation equipment in the dairy manufacturing building, ensuring stable and reliable air exchange throughout the production process.

As a result of the project, a total reduction in primary energy consumption of 403.80 MWh is projected, alongside a greenhouse gas emission decrease of 51.23 thousand CO2 per year.

The project is funded by the Recovery Fund and runs from April 2025 to March 2026. The total eligible costs amount to EUR 1,138,800.03, of which European Union funding constitutes EUR 259,316.89.
