SILMOR starts a research project on flexible PCB solutions for industrial applications

SIA SILMOR has started research project No. 5.1.1.2.i.0/2/24/A/CFLA/006 “Competence Centre of the Latvian Electrical and Optical Equipment Manufacturing Industry”, study No. 24 “Development of flexible PCB solutions for industrial applications”. The research runs from 01.12.2025 to 31.05.2027.

Total budget: eligible research costs EUR 156,735.01. EU financing: Recovery Fund public financing (grant) EUR 95,730.29.

SILMOR’s aim is to develop and experimentally verify technologies for integrating printed electronic elements and sensors, ensuring reliability and adaptability in industrial applications. The project addresses modern devices that require a compact, flexible and energy-efficient design. During the project a capacitive sensor prototype will be developed to demonstrate the practical application of the printed electronics technology and its potential for creating new products and functionality.
